TRUMPET VINE / Trumpet Creeper

Note: if you have overly sensitive skin, make sure you wear gloves when working with this plant, seeds or cuttings. These seeds benefit from chilling  for two weeks before planting. This is a very vigorous, sprawling vine which spreads through underground runners and reseeds freely.  Excellent for growing on a fence or trellis.  Can grow up to 40 feet tall and 10 foot  wide if left on it’s own.  Can be trimmed to shape. Can be invasive so keep in an area where you can monitor it’s growth.  Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies and bees.  Takes two years to flower, sometimes more, depending on where it’s grown.  Likes sun. You will receive 30+ seeds from organically grown plants.
