Germination Instructions
Be sure that the seed starting mix is moist, and then fill the tray until the soil is 1/2-inch from the top. Press firmly on the soil and add more if necessary. Place the sedum seeds on the surface, leaving a 1-inch gap between them. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of seed starting mix that is around the same height as the diameter of one seed. This layer of soil must touch the seeds, so press down evenly. Spray water on the soil so that it is moist, but not wet.
Cover the tray with plastic wrap to retain the moisture and provide a consistent level of humidity. Place the tray in a warm spot or on a seedling heat mat. Check the seeds regularly over the next two to four weeks and make sure the soil remains moist by spraying it with water, if needed.
